Sewing Project: baby gift

Lately with all my spare time I have been in my sewing room; creating new projects. This is one of my first projects that I did. They are diaper and wipe cases to give away as baby shower gifts.

I was given one of these from a friend when the baby was born and I love it. For quick trips out I simply pop this into my purse for a just in case diaper change! The pattern (found here) was easy cut out and the project was easy to make. So far I have made 5 and given them all away!!

Making baby gifts is a great way to save money! I got the material at a discount store for $1.99/yard and and it has made all 5 and will do a couple more! Thats not a bad price for a gift these days.

Love all things homemade! I linked to this on my weekly roundup (post can be found here). Being a cloth diaper mama, though, I'd want mine a bit bigger. Thanks for the inspiration!
